Current health expenditure measures all spending on healthcare goods and services consumed by a country in a given year, including both public and private sources, as defined by the WHO System of Health Accounts.

Measured as a percentage (%) of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

This dataset covers the period from 2000 to 2024, recording data for 193 entities. Data is sourced from World Bank.

Limitations
