Data Profile

This dataset covers the period from 1970 to 2024, recording data for 198 entities. Data is sourced from World Bank.

Limitations

These figures capture formal financial transfers recorded in balance of payments data. Informal remittances transferred through unofficial channels are not included and may be substantial in some countries.
